Renton 7 are a two piece indie-rock band established at the beginning of 2014. This unique line up has brought about a dark, gritty and raw emotional sound that sets this pairing apart from any other.
At the heartbeat of the band is Mark Douglas, a seasoned drummer who's sensibilities, subtleties and power-housing bring a multi-tiered musicality to the outfit. Fronting the band is guitarist, singer and lyricist Darren Renton. Another experienced performer, Darren's close-to-the-bone lyrics and delivery are what every music fan is

lyrics
I see wings as black as coal
I see eyes that have no soul
I was the poster child of positivity
There were punches I could roll with endlessly
Chorus:
But now the Crows are in the tower
I watch them as I pass out from this light
The taste has slightly soured
Cause one day I will join them in their flight
But I won't start to panic
Keep my fears from the attic
Hold on till the end I hear it's a classic end
Chorus: repeat
V1: repeat
Chorus:
But now the Crows are in the tower
I watch them as I pass out from this light
Now the taste has slightly soured
Cause one day I will join them in their flight
Come that final hour
They will not take me quietly to the night
